Many service planners and policy-makers working in mental health have an interest in using models to inform their work, but are unsure about the most efficient and optimal way to do so. Acumen members have prepared a number of resources to help decision makers better understand how they can play a full role in the commissioning, development, use and refinement of model based decision aids.
Mental health systems modelling is a methodologically demanding field in which best-practice is continually evolving. We provide information, meet-ups and tools to assist the mental health systems modelling community to leverage each other’s experience and to collectively improve the quality, relevance and practical utility our models.
